Alexander was excited to get his birthday gift today. Excited, but not surprised, since it was sitting out in plain view for the last several days. We probably won’t get away with such present-hiding laziness next year. It’s a water table standing play thingie – now with boats!
Gotta say, I was kind of disappointed the Big Party didn't feature time for the guests to try out the water-table-thing-y. It did look quite fun. However, the previous remark was NOT to imply the party lacked in any way. We had a splendid time, and will be recuperated and ready for more festivities by the time No. 2 rolls around... at least we hope to be.
