What is he, a farmer?

I consider myself a morning person, so he comes by it honestly. But 4:00 am is more night than morning, really. Even farmers would hit the snooze bar if their alarms went off that early. Still, Alexander woke up, bright eyed and ready to go, at 4:00 this morning. Ready to plow the toys and milk the mom.

Anyhoo, it has been a while since we’ve updated the blog. I am sure all three of you out there have been wondering what is going on in our (adorable) world. Last week, we made a trip to Iowa and saw Great Grandma.

Then we stopped and saw Aunt Rachel and Uncle Dave before hitting the road back home. It was a long day for a baby who only napped for about 15 minutes. This was the scene before we even got out of the drive way:
